Claus Georg Stabe and Carsten Goering virtuously renegotiate the line — the elementary particle of the media of drawing and painting. They extend it into surfaces where effects arise that one would hardly attribute to these media; they flicker, shine, vibrate, and undulate in the wandering gaze of the viewer.
