Goering’s paintings, acrylics and oil on canvas, are formed by bold colour applications with a vertical comb-like grid. Various use of pressure causes a shimmering grid of lines. The interaction between bold rows of colour and lighter rear in-between lines create movement within a surface. It can be compared to the lenticular effect that develops sparkling reflections of an image, even moving images, depending on the viewers perspective.
